The hotel is right on the beach which is great. I stayed in the villa rooms and the AC was welcomed. It's true that the shower is next to the toilet but the water drained well and dried off the floor quickly in my room. The rooms are cleaned at your request, so there won't be any need for a do not disturb notice. If you need towels, new sheets, etc just stop at the front desk and ask for the room to be serviced. Dan & Rob (owners) were the best hosts. As a travel agent, I would highly recommend a stay at Coasters, perfect beach location, great food, a must stay at.What ever we needed we got, a home away from home. Had my 50th birthday there, they not only put on the best fresh seafood banquet (served at table on the beach)but also set up a great bon fire and then surprised us with continueos fire works from the beach. Golden Sand Hotel

Great value hotel if a perfect location for the beaches, bar and restaurants. Rooms where clean tidy and very comfortable however it just missed something that is difficult to put you finger on. Room cleaning trolleys were just left at the end of the corridors making it look untidy. Finished room service plates where again just piled at one location by the stairs. We had two issues with the room when we arrived that got fixed straight away, but they should have been done before had (reactive not proactive). I think is was more the way it was run as opposed to the functionality of the hotel. Anyway these were minor things and overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it.
