Sign up for a Khmer cookery class and have a fun day out!

Enjoy a refreshing cold drink to start the day, followed by a seasonal fruit tasting. Then you will learn how to prepare four traditional Khmer dishes with the opportunity to take home recipe cards of what you have just learnt. All produce is bouth fresh from the market.

Choose from the following suggested set menus, or if you have a Khmer recipe you would like to cook - just ask!

Khmer Menu No. 1 - Monday or Thursday

- Chay Yon. Fresh spring rolls with vegetable and / or bacon
- Fish soup with prawns, fresh herbs and lime
- Lok lak. Beef in Khmer sauce.
- Sticky rice with mango and coconut

Khmer Menu No. 2 - Tuesday or Friday

- Chay Yon. Deep fried spring rolls with vegetables and / or pork
- Banana flower salad with steamed chicken
- Fish Amok
- Cheik Chean. Deep fried bananas

Khmer Menu No. 3 - Wednesday or Saturday

- Krill Cakes - shrimps in tempura butter
- Crispy rice noodles with beef and salad
- Red chicken curry
- Num sang Khya L'phheou. Pumpkin custard

When you're finished cooking - just relax and enjoy a glass of beer, wine or lemon juice during lunch with a little self satisfaction of having prepared the food yourself!

Courses are limited to 8 people at a time.

Two and three day classes are available upon request.
